Julie Guyot grew up among the cornfields in rural Illinois. She graduated with her BFA in ceramics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1994 and her MFA in studio art from Florida State University in 2008.  She founded a community-building ceramic lending project called Take Out Project in 2012.   She is a full-time studio artist and resides with her husband, Clayton and her dogs, Lucy and Rudy.




Erica Passage is currently employed at Florida State University as a part-time ceramics instructor and a part-time ceramics studio technician.  Erica graduated in 2007 with a BFA in Ceramics and a BS in K-12 Art Education from Central Michigan University.  In 2013 she graduated from West Virginia University with an MFA in Ceramics. 



Libby Armstrong is a native to the Florida Panhandle.  She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art and has worked in the art and design fields for several years. She has a passion for clay and operates a multidisciplinary studio from home.   Her inspiration comes from the natural settings found on earth - from the lush aerial gardens of summer kudzu to the nearby beaches and state forests that surround. Libby tries to capture the simple and complex lines and forms found in nature, and always remembers that "nature did it best, and first."

Tour Rusty’s studio and see how he creates his beautiful stoneware. Expertly crafted home décor and serving pieces that make every meal a special occasion.


Then zip down the road to Mary Donahue’s, Shiva D Studio, for a look at ancient clay traditions in sculpture and pottery. There will be demonstrations and lots of clay work to excite the eye including work by visiting artist’s and potters: Barbara Balzer, Kate Piretti, Kowit J., Sam Amantia, Donna Ingle and Marian Morris.



Follow the Studio Tour Signs on the Woodville Hwy. Turn Left at the second Food Giant entrance and drive between the store and the water tower to Shadyside Circle, 2nd house on your left.

Follow the Studio Tour Signs to Mary’s Studio: Turn right on OAKRIDGE ROAD (go about 2 miles) Turn left onto BUNTING (dirt road), Right on TERN, left on FLICKER.  Go about 1 mile, turn right on SORA, cross power line road and into the woods. Left at the green and white sign, Donahue 985 Sora. Park anywhere but please don’t block the road.

Nancy Jefferson began working in clay in 1970 at the University of Kentucky and further studied at the Penland School of Crafts, in Penland, North Carolina, and at Haystack, in Deer Isle, Maine.  Her firing techniques include high fire porcelain, raku and sawdust firing.

Sean Lawler currently resides in his studio warehouse with his cat. He graduated from Florida State University in 2012 and received a BFA with an emphasis in sculpture. He builds primarily from slabs and extrusions to create structures, forms, and components. These are then blended with found objects and made into sculptures.
